Welcome to another week of steamy excerpts. Enjoy!
Destiny cannot be altered.
With Britannia falling to the Saxon hordes, Morgaine, Queen
of the Faeries, has no choice but to make a pact with the Christian monks. She
promises to give them a High King who will unite the Britons against the Saxons
if he takes a queen from the faery realm. Morgaine hopes this will restore the
Goddess faith and return Avalon to its rightful place. She sends Lancelot to
guard the future High King, but when a love potion falls into the wrong hands,
all seems lost.
Gwenhwyfar is the only hope for the future, but betrayal,
revenge, and forbidden love surround her, all of which could send both
Britannia and Avalon into ruins.

"A friend of mine passed this sweet, eruptive book
on to me. This is so colourful! The old characters are all there, but they are
incredibly alive, and there are lots of new twists on this classic (desire
stirs throughout a lot of the scenes.) Kelley Heckart's writing makes me wish
for a
fireplace and a harp in the background." Written by Tina-Sue Ducross
R-rated Excerpt:
He slid into her from behind like a stallion mounting a
mare, thrusting in and out, grabbing on to her hips with both hands. Morgaine
reached between her legs and stroked herself. Her juices slid beneath her
fingers, laving her bud. Pleasure tingled in her groin, soaring as if borne on
wings.
Lancelot’s thrusts grew faster and harder. She moved her
pelvis in sync with his wild thrusts and flapped her wings. Morgaine’s body
jerked with her climax as Lancelot came in a thunderous roar.
“Ahhh, yes!” He grabbed her hips, pushing himself in as far
as he could go.
Sated and relaxed, she pressed her wings flat against her
back.
They lay spent on the soft grass, facing each other.
Lancelot brushed her hair back from her face and traced the blue
crescent tattooed on her brow. “No other can please me as you can.”
Love shimmered in his dark amber eyes, but she knew he would
not stay with her for long. There was a restlessness inside him that could not
be tamed. Lancelot was half-faery, but his human side had a stronger pull on
him. Restlessness ruled his heart.

What an interesting twist on a favorite old tale,Kelley!
I love the notion that Lancelot is half-fairy. That would explain quite a bit...
Making love when one partner has wings could be a tricky business! Nice excerpt!
A legendary scene with legendary characters. Nicely written.
Me thinks she would be happier NOT knowing that he's going to leave her. Being only half fairy, he seems oblivious to his future. Interesting telling of a familiar story, creating it as a new tale. Sexy idea.
