Kelley Heckart is the author of 15 paranormal and
historical romantasy novels. She loves blending history, mythology, and
mysticism across ancient and modern timelines, breathing life into fierce
warriors, powerful women, and otherworldly creatures. When she isn't dreaming
up supernatural stories with high stakes, angsty romance, Kelley can be found
practicing target archery, recording music with her musician husband, or
watching the backyard birds that bring serenity and joy to her daily life. She
also channels her passion for storytelling into helping other writers as a
comprehensive, experienced book editor, guiding manuscripts from first plot
twists to final copy edits.
Inspired by strong female heroines — including Xena Warrior Princess, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and Joan Jett — and, at times, by her own background as a rock-n-roll musician, Kelley is also inspired by true stories from ancient times.
